Positive thinking is faith. And faith is indeed the foundation of The Girls of Power Network. “Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.” Hebrews 11:1 NLT. With faith, comes confidence and hope. Through the teachings of The Girls of Power Network, each Girl of Power will learn to:
- become fully aware of her self-worth
- understand that her life has purpose
- become self-motivated and set to visualize smart goals
- overcome obstacles and learn from failures
- connect with an encouraging support system of mentors and peers (sisters)
Despite the many complex problems that are plaguing the girls in our surrounding communities (teenage pregnancy, dating violence, high drop-out rate, etc.), The Girls of Power Network is committed to reducing these statistics
one life at a time.

"I thank God for allowing us to come together on one accord - the first ever Girls of Power Conference. The weekend was so anointed. I thank God for everyone's pressing spirit to walk by faith. I learned a lot. Everyone else I talked to was blessed as well. I was reminded of some things that I had put on the backburner. God loves us so much. He meets us where we are. God's Agape love means unconditional. We need to look beyond everyone's faults and see the good in them. Let us pray, fast, and remember the next conference coming up. Apply what we have learned to help someone else. Let's all lead by examples. We are truly honored to have been a part, and thank God for each of you."
